NSW:Six flood rescues in NSW

SYDNEY, Dec 12 AAP - Six flood rescues have been carried out in NSW as wet weather
conditions continued across the state.

State Emergency Service (SES) spokesman Phil Campbell said most of the rescues were
in the Central Coast and the northern suburbs of Sydney.

Among the rescues was a couple and their dog who spent Sunday night stranded between
two flooded causeways in Bingara before being rescued on Monday morning.

An adult and two children were also rescued at Biniguy, between Moree and Gravesend.

As well as the rescues there were 338 calls for help on Monday.

"It's mostly minor stuff, leaky roofs. We've had no major property damage," Mr Campbell said.

"It's just showers for the rest of the week. We may get some heavy rain developing
in western NSW towards the early part of next week.

"At this stage it looks pretty good for a fine weekend."
