Qld: Expected boom in first aid training
BRISBANE, Jan 17 AAP - Ambulance officers have predicted a boom in first aid trainingthis year following the events of September 11 and the recent NSW bushfires.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) community manager for Brisbane Tanya Mattila todaysaid many more inquiries and enrolments for CPR and senior first aid training had beenreceived in recent weeks than for the same time last year.
